The MM in OR program lasts 16 months, beginning in September and ending in December of the following year. The program is organized as follows:
- During the first two academic terms (September - December, January - April), students complete rigorous core courses in OR theory and practice, which prepare them for their summer Industry Projects.
- Industry Projects are assigned to students in the second academic term, and during this term students begin preparatory project work, including defining the project scope and outlining a detailed project plan.
- Full-time work on the projects begins in mid-April and continues to early September when the final presentations are made to the Industry Partner.
In the remaining four months of the program (September - December), students are required to write a project report, complete COE deliverables and take elective courses that help prepare them to meet their specific career objectives.
